Oriental Poppy Patty's Plum The Oriental Poppy Patty's Plum, 'Papaver', a spring planted herbacious root, produces lovely, large lavender poppy flowers with a dark eye. The flower petals have a crepe paper texture and are produced on long stems above a thick clump of long bristly, mid-green leaves. This poppy prefers deep well drained soils.
