The Yellow Turk's Cap Lily, Lilium citronella, has lemon yellow petals dotted dark brown or black curling back to almost a complete circle. 20-30+ flowers per stem. Though many lilies have come and gone over the years, these have survived the test of time. Their gracefully recurved petals have given them their intriguing name. They are excellent garden lilies and will increase in beauty every year. Plant in small groups in the border or scatter them around for a more informal look. Well-drained soil and full to partial sun suit them best. We know they will become favorites in your garden too.Yellow Turk's cap lily is easily grown. Mulch helps prevent soils drying out and keep the root zone cool. Turk's cap lily bulbs should be planted 4 to 6 inches deep.
